Help Us Reflect On God’s Faithfulness

January 18, 2016 | By

The Crossroad is transitioning into becoming part of Urban Hills. If you haven’t done so already, you can read about the transition here.

As part of this transition, we want both to look back celebrating God’s faithfulness to us as a church and to look forward celebrating what He is continuing to do in joining like-minded churches for the sake of the gospel. This post is meant to help us look back.

Has the ministry of The Crossroad had any impact on you? Do you have any favorite memories? Share them with us in the comments section below.

Updated Easter Sunday Plans

March 30, 2015 | By

Due to the forecasted rain, we will no longer meet at the park on Easter morning. Rather, we will meet in our normal meeting space at MacArthur Blvd Baptist at 3pm on Sunday.

Easter Sunday is when we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, the historical event on which our faith hinges. Through His resurrection, Jesus has conquered sin, death, and brokenness. It’s also the culmination of the Lenten season when all the focus on our sin and need for a Savior is met with the good news of pardon, redemption, and complete acceptance through the death and resurrection of our Savior and Lord. One Year Bible 2015

December 20, 2014 | By

Jesus said, “I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full” (John 15:11). We hope in 2015 to receive such joy by reading through God’s Word together. God’s Word, along with His Spirit and His people are the means by which we grow as disciples.

The One Year Bible Reading Plan, borrowed from our friends at The City Church, acts as a survey of God’s great drama of redemption by including key chapters that move along from beginning to end the story of God’s work in this world. You’ll gain a solid understanding of and appreciation for the overall storyline of the Bible, seeing how it all point to God’s King, Jesus. Here’s how it works: Read More

Meet The New

February 15, 2014 | By

We are pleased to introduce a new website for the new year (albeit a month and a half late). We hope this new site is much easier to navigate and better represents who we are as a church. The major changes are both in content and aesthetics. Read More

Introduction To New City Catechism

February 7, 2014 | By

We are launching a year-long initiative encouraging each person in our body to make the New City Catechism a regular part of their devotional practices. There are 52 questions and answers that teach sound doctrine for the sake of sound living. Each question has two levels – a simple one for kids and fuller one for adults, making it very useful for families. It is our hope that this would not become a mundane exercise or something to be checked off of a list. Rather, we would like to see our whole body (young and old) grow in the depth of their knowledge of God and His redeeming work through Jesus Christ. Read More
